The Pine Reserve Just Joined Airbnb Luxe: What That Means for Your Stay

Airbnb Luxe does not hand out badges for having a nice couch. The Pine Reserve just earned one anyway.

Our 7-bedroom cabin in Broken Bow has been accepted into Airbnb Luxe, and the badge is now live on the listing. That puts the property in a collection Airbnb describes as representing less than 1% of all listings on the platform worldwide. Here is what that actually means, and why it matters if you are planning a stay.

What Is Airbnb Luxe, Really?

Airbnb Luxe is not a rating. It is not a review score. It is a separate, invite-only collection of homes that Airbnb inspects in person before anything gets added, and keeps checking after the fact.

Getting in is not a matter of filling out a form and waiting. Airbnb sends a local Home Consultant for an in-person walkthrough, an independent luxury real estate and hospitality expert who documents the home’s design, furnishings, and amenities.

The consultant does not make the final call. That comes from Airbnb’s Luxe team after they review the full report, and listings get checked periodically after that to make sure they still hold up.

The bar itself covers the details you would expect from a luxury stay: quality construction and premium finishes, a cohesive design throughout the home, a full kitchen with high-end appliances, a primary bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, distinct living and dining spaces, and outdoor areas kept to the same standard, right down to matching patio furniture and proper lighting around a pool or fire pit.

Why The Pine Reserve Made the Cut

Nearly two private acres of pine forest in Hochatown. Seven bedrooms. Six and a half bathrooms. Sixteen beds, sleeping up to 30 guests. A private pool, hot tub, sauna, golf simulator, home theater, gym, and game room. It is the kind of amenity list Airbnb Luxe was built around.

None of that guest history was affected by the move, either. Existing reviews and ratings carry over automatically, since Luxe is a distinct collection within the same Airbnb account and listing, not a new platform or a new page.

It did not cost anything extra to join, and nothing about how the property is run changed. Airbnb is clear that hosts keep full control over pricing, availability, and minimum stay requirements, and there is no exclusivity requirement tying the property to Airbnb alone.

What This Means for Your Stay

The listing keeps its Luxe badge visible on the page, but it still shows up in regular Airbnb search results, not tucked away in a separate collection you would have to know to look for.

Guests booking The Pine Reserve also get a dedicated premium support team, available 24/7, that Airbnb describes as trained specifically for luxury clientele and hospitality. Pricing, availability, and minimum stays are still set entirely by us, so nothing changes there, and there is no additional cost passed on for the Luxe designation itself.

In practice, it mostly means the vetting you would normally have to do yourself, checking photos carefully, reading between the lines of a listing description, has already been done by a third party with a fairly strict checklist.

And that checklist does not stop after approval. Airbnb reviews Luxe listings on an ongoing basis, so the badge reflects the current condition of the home, not just how it looked the day it was approved.

Planning a Stay at The Pine Reserve

If you are weighing a group trip to Broken Bow, our full breakdown of The Pine Reserve’s layout and amenities covers the sleeping arrangements and shared spaces in more detail, and our Broken Bow golf getaway guide walks through how the property’s golf simulator and nearby courses fit into a longer weekend. You can also see the full property details on the The Pine Reserve property page.

The Luxe badge does not change what the cabin has always offered. It just means an outside party with a fairly demanding checklist looked closely and agreed it holds up. You can read Airbnb’s full Luxe standards and requirements directly on their site.
