The Pine Reserve FAQs

Check-in is from 4:00 PM Central Time and checkout is no later than 10:00 AM Central Time, with smart lock entry.

Not when there is a guest arriving or leaving the same day. This is a large home and the cleaning team needs the full window. Otherwise just ask in advance and we will check.

Guests must be at least 21 to book or stay. Maximum occupancy is 30 guests, and day visitors count toward this limit. Gatherings of up to 30 people need no approval; more than 30 requires prior written approval and additional fees may apply.

Twenty indoors. Two dining tables seat eight each and four more sit at the kitchen island. There are two further tables outside seating ten apiece.

Yes. Pool heating is available year round at $100 per night, heated to 85°F. Please request it at least 48 hours ahead so the water has time to reach temperature.

Yes. There is an adult set and a kids set, both at the property.

Nothing to bring. Propane is permanently connected to the house, so the grill will never run out mid-stay.

There is no plumbed filter, but we provide Brita filter pitchers in the refrigerators.

The wood-burning firepit is available year-round. Firewood is not provided — starter packs are sold at nearby gas stations. Gas fireplaces run October through March. Please do not move or rearrange the gas fire logs ($300 fine).

There is one crib, in the nursery off the primary suite, alongside a twin bunk bed. There is no pack-n-play at this property, so bring one if you need a second sleeping spot for a baby.

Not at the moment. Please bring your own if you need them. The pool is fenced, though the yard is not.

No. Dogs are welcome up to two, each under 30 lbs, house-trained and at least 12 months old. The pet fee is $300 per visit. Dogs cannot swim in the pool or hot tub, and we are not able to accommodate cats. Please contact us before booking so we can approve your dog.

Yes, there is plenty of space to park an RV. We do not have electrical hookups for one.

Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. The home is smoke-free throughout, including outdoors ($500 fine).

Access roads are gravel, so please drive slowly, especially at night or in rain. Trash collection is Monday, Wednesday and Friday — please use the street bins.
